AIR
VALVE TECHNOLOGY:
For the first time in India Minda Impco is introducing second Generation
Air valve technology for MPFI cars. An air valve is designed to maintain
the correct Air / fuel ratio over the entire operating range of the
engine. It acts as a dummy carburetor and the air valve is mounted
in the intake air stream above the throttle plates and is designed
to create a slight pressure drop (Negative Pressure) as air is drawn
through it into the engine. The result is excellent drivability and
very low maintenance.
